Groups in shape layers work like a precomposition for that matter, as Duik works only with the layer transform and not the content

Oh! Thanks for this feedback, I may get what's wrong.

I'll add a way to reset preferences in case Duik has issues like this, which will replace these files by the defaults. I think they got corrupted (but I don't know why...)

The scale is computed depending on the distance with the camera, so any move will change it.

This tool is entended only to be used only when you place the layers where you need them, and then to be removed to animate the camera.

Haha the error does not help a lot :roll:

This line concerns the text colors in the UI of Duik.
It looks like it's a bug in Ae there. Do the texts of the buttons correctly change their colors to red when you go over them with the mouse, then get back to the original grey?

hum... 8897 has nothing to do with the Structures, that's weird, it concerns the UI only...

Can you send a screenshot of the complete error shown? thanks!

Hi Mickey,
Have you tried to disable the dev mode? This way the errors should be ignored.

Also, just tell me what version of Duik you're using, I'll have a look at this error and see what's going on!

Sorry, this is a known bug, and it's in After Effects, not Duik.

My only advice would be... Update After Effects ;)

And Adobe just removed all older versions of After Effects from Creative Cloud, so we're not able anymore to test and support these versions.

It theory yes, but I can't help you as I don't remember what has to be added in the marker to work correctly with Duik.

Why don't you use the provided beta version? It's better than the public one, and it's the same as the one used in the tutorial.

You'll have to use the beta version provided with the tuto, and not the public version ;)
