Parent accross comp not working

Post by guyman20 » Wed Apr 17, 2019 7:28 am

I'm trying to use the Parent Across Comp tool but it doesn't work on a specific layer.
I have a png layer on a parent comp, and another nested (2 levels of nesting) comp inside it, with the same png layer.
When I select the parent png, choose the child png and click on "parent" - only one null, in the parent comp, appears. Nothing else happens.

Any ideas?
Thank you

Parent accross comp does not support two levels of nesting, you should not even be able to select the parent comp in Duik. You'd have to add an intermediate null object in the comp "in between" the two others.

Are you following these instructions ?
